What Para does
- Parametric controller objects. Mark any object as a controller and give it named parameters โ lengths, counts, angles, options โ that drive its geometry.
- Family types. Define types per family (think Revit): switch a whole object between saved parameter sets in one click, or save your own as presets.
- Formulas. Parameters can be computed from other parameters with a safe expression engine โ widths derived from heights, counts from lengths, and so on.
- Lookup tables. Drive parameters from tabular data โ standard sizes, catalogue values, gauge tables.
- Bill-of-Materials scheduler. Schedule parameters and quantities across the file into a BOM โ the same idea as a Revit schedule, in Blender.
- Powers the whole family. LM Dims reads Para parameters to drive dimensions; Bevel Edge profiles regenerate through Para-linked parameters; companion extensions (Aids, Assy, Piper) build on the same engine.
